Now the first problem of this recipe is that I’ve never made ‘Teuk Trey Koh Kong’ which is a sauce similar to Thai sweet chilli sauce. You can buy it anytime freshly made in the markets in Siem Reap. I’ll find out how to make it and post the results.
Tuek Trey Koh Kong Fried Baby Squid
200 grams of baby squid, washed thoroughly and dried
2- table spoons ofTeuk Trey Koh Kong or you can use Thai sweet chilli sauce
1. Heat the oil in a wok on medium heat. You want to shallow fry not deep fry. Add the squid and Teuk Trey Koh Kong and stir fry for 3-4 minutes.
2. Taste and adjust with salt. Serve as a stand alone snack or with steamed rice.
